    Jason is well versed in the venue with his first show at Clarence St Theatre when he was just 11 years old. At his time the theatre was called Trust Bank Community Theatre and owned by Hamilton Operatic Society.

    Jason has worked extensively in management in New Zealand and in London and on returning from London in 2008 studied theatre at the University of Waikato.

    Jason has a passion for the performing arts and is loving the challenge of bringing Clarence St Theatre back to life.

    Melissa’s journey with Clarence St Theatre began at the ripe age of 5 where she started dance classes. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Dance she went on to work as a professional dancer for various companies and independent projects in both Australia and London. In 2006 she moved to India to study Tabla (Indian percussion) and has been playing and performing on this instrument ever since. For the past 15 years Melissa has been living and working in Australia as a Radio Mic Technician for touring musical productions such as The Lion King, Les Miserables, Matilda.

    She is thrilled to be circling back home to be part of the team at Clarence St Theatre

    Dane has been in the entertainment industry for the last 12 years as an entertainer. Having spent the last decade navigating his way through television, theatre productions and corporate gigs, he finds himself back at Clarence St Theatre 20 years on from the time he first step foot in the theatre. Dane previously coordinated entertainment and events at SkyCity Hamilton and the Te Rapa Racing Club. For a short period he would pull away from entertainment and work for the Ministry of Justice in the Office of Maori and Crown Relations.

    Dane is ecstatic to be back working in the creative space once again along side a very funny and exuberant team
