Shaun brings over three decades of experience in Hamilton's vibrant theatre scene, coupled with a 25-year background as a business owner in the graphics and printing industry. In this time he has worked with many of Hamilton’s theatre groups, in most of our city’s venues, and in a wide variety of roles. As a leader who values collaboration, Shaun prioritises fostering friendly, open relations and approaches every day with positivity, professionalism, and a smear of humor.

Shaun has a personal connection to Clarence Street Theatre, where his journey in theatre began as a student at Hillcrest High School. It became a formative source of confidence, comradery, knowledge, and even love; being where he met his partner, who along with their two daughters remain his greatest source of happiness. This connection sustains Shaun’s deep-rooted desire to contribute to Clarence Street’s ongoing success and legacy, and he hopes you will support our journey.

    EMAIL Ray

Ray has been involved in theatre since his school days growing up in Timaru. His passion has seen him performing onstage and working backstage for various amateur theatre groups around New Zealand. For the last eight years he has been involved in the Hamilton theatre scene where, along with the occasional on-stage role (Roger Hall's 'Hot Water' and 'Hudson & Halls' at CST; 'Cosi' at Riverlea Theatre), he now enjoys his other creative passion - graphic design.

A theatre highlight for Ray has been as a founding member of the Bold Theatre Trust, producing shows like 'That Bloody Woman', 'Assassins', 'Old, Bold and Going Nowhere' and 'Dogfight'.

And when he’s not busy with any of the above you’ll find him working behind the bar at Clarence St Theatre!
