Level 2

As at 17/09/2021, Event facilities can operate at Alert Level 2.

Event facilities can have up to 50 people within any defined space. They also need to assess how many people can safely be inside the premises and still maintain 2 metre physical distancing between bubbles, where possible. This could mean the facility needs to have fewer than 50 people in a defined space.

Face coverings must be worn at all times. This is a requirement when visiting Clarence St Theatre.

LEVEL 1

In Level 1 we are able to be in the theatre and operate as usual – pending any new guidelines.

Contact Tracing

Please sign-in to our venue using: The NZ COVID Tracer app to scan the displayed QR code or by signing in using the paper and ballot box provided for your privacy.

All businesses are legally required to display a NZ COVID Tracer QR code for each business location and also legally must have an alternative contact tracing system. It is now a requirement that all attendees of Clarence St Theatre to scan or sign in.

Clarence St Theatre is fully operational and is taking bookings for future events and performances.
